ON-SITE INTERVENTION
"On-Site" Intervention is the classical style, in which we come to your home and meet personally with all participating family members, in order to facilitate a customized intervention plan designed to motivate your addicted loved one to accept immediate, comprehensive care. We first arrive in the general locale and meet with all family members, not including the subject of the intervention. Such preliminary meetings are designed to ensure that each family member understands their role in the intervention process.
Prior to traveling on-site, an ARCS counselor will have worked with you and your family to accomplish the following:
(1) garner basic assessment information about the addict
(2) garner an overview of the family members to be involved in the intervention
(3) conduct several group counseling sessions with your family
(4) develop a customized intervention strategy for the addict, including program placement and transportation
(5) develop a case management and aftercare strategy, for both addict and family, to greatly increase the odds of
program completion
Although accomplishing these goals prior to traveling to you can greatly minimize costs, on-site interventions are still quite expensive, starting at approximately $7,000. For a more affordable alternative, ARCS counselors can train your family to implement an "at-home" intervention, with the same customized attention and considerably less expense.
