I was born in the late 50’s and raised in the 60’s & 70’s, in a northern California suburb during a time of war, free love, drugs, and rock n roll --- a most interesting time in history. I was raised in a dysfunctional home. My father drank and had anger issues, and my mother had psychological issues. I was molested as a young girl and ended up dropping out of school. I was pregnant and married at 17. I had my first child at 18 and another child at 20. During this time I was in a horribly abusive relationship with a drug addict and alcoholic. In 1978 I divorced my husband and became a single mother of two boys. A year later, my eldest son passed away at the age of three. After a horrible custody battle which included a kidnapping, I regained custody of my youngest son to make a new start. I started my own business as a photographer, which eventually landed me in the music business as a manager of bands for over 35 years. I had another child at the age of 45 and found myself in yet another abusive relationship with an alcoholic. Becoming disillusioned by the music business in all of its ugliness, I decided to go back to college and earn my Bachelors degree in Psychology. I figured after managing and traveling around the world with men in bands for that many years --- I jokingly say I already have a masters in male psychology, hah... Then, I graduated from Robbins Madanes Training for Life & Relationship Coaching, and I also became certified as a NeuroLinguistics Programming practitioner. In 2013 my husband of 20 years passed away unexpectedly, leaving me a single parent once again, to a nine year old. I left my home in California after two years of struggling with life, and I moved to Nevada to raise my daughter and start a new relationship. I went to Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy, where I learned how the brain works under different states of mind. I've also written a few books: “A Woman’s Guide to a Man’s Mind”, and “Quantum Secrets to a Happy Life”. I've had a lifelong curiosity with seeking the mysteries of the universe, having studied many spiritual philosophies along the way. I've also formed a unique understanding of how consciousness and energy work, that I have applied to my own life as a new consciousness teacher. I was attracted to the ARCS program to become certified as a CARC, because it teaches you about addiction, trauma, and abuse while going through the healing process, yourself. Moving through my own trauma and abuse has helped me to understand my own life cycles, as well as given me the tools for healing myself. Most of all, I now know importance of self-love. Now, I am helping others to heal and become Certified Coaches through this program. |
